I know having a bad disc drive can cause problems when trying to install firmware. I believe there are cfw just for systems with a bad disc drive. Don't think there is for HEN tho.

Just a remind
Install ofw 4.84.2. This will format hdd
Install hfw 4.84.2
Install han. This will give you package manager
Install hen

Of course, you will have to execute the necessary xploits for the different steps.

Webmanmod seems to be causing a lot of crashes for me. I was testing Retroarch, running Genesis roms used to crash my ps3, Snes and Nes worked fine. Some homebrews after running it a second time caused a crash. After removing webmanmod i haven't seen a single crash and even genesis roms are working on retroarch, why is webmanmod causing these compatibility issues? or am i doing something wrong.

@spirallingspiral are u using latest version of webMAN? The latest version is 1.47.22, I didn't have problems after update but I don't use Retroarch sorry
 

Not Found

The requested URL /hen/release/PS3HEN_2.2.2_4.82_FW.zip was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

After running hen, all homebrews must be shown on xmb games category. Eventhough, most of them will be shown without enabling hen ( not webmanmod)
 
You was right!!! Now I can run multiMAN finally, approved in this new version ;)

I was using webmanmod 1.47.20 and retroarch without any problem at first boot.
I updated to webmanmod 1.47.22 and retroarch is still running.
I've just tested megadrive genesis with aladdin EUR ROM and it's working
Exit from retroarch to xmb and restart retroarch for 3 times without rebooting and working. This time tested with genesis alexkidd in the enchanted castle ROM
