Question

It seems you didn't actually read the post. PSN and what not are the steps I had to take to activate habibs placeholder as reactpsn does not work on REBUG which is the firmware i'm using. I have stated that in the post twice I think. On habib you should be able to use reactpsn (if you don't understand you will need to look for a tutorial they are all over the place)

after the placeholder is acivated the steps are the same. It takes two seconds to create the memory card so not a big deal about that.

I also used to play wired, however to try to help you I gave habibs fix a shot and it works fine.

again, just forget about classics games. All you need to know is

Habibs placeholder comes with a classics game to make it work properly (tetris). It is installed automatically so you don't have to worry about it.

All your games should be ISO files. Click the game you want to play in webman, it will say loaded, then click "PS2 Classics Launcher" in webman and your game will boot if compatible, if not, re-rip it, or move to a different game.

I did read your post I wasnt sure what you meant.

But instead of going online via PSN couldnt you have just used psnpatch instead of reactpsn?

Plus I thought memory card to save games was made automatically.

I dont get it why cant the placeholder work normally without tetris?

If you think I should just get ISO files and not convert it to classics to play wirelessly then thats fine.

you have to use psn to use psnpatch to activate classics placeholder. If you are able to use reactpsn you can do it offline.

Them memory card isn't made automatically for this method of ps2 games but you only have to make it once.

Only devs get why it doesn't just work. Nobody will be able to explain that in terms you will actually understand. For now, this is the method you will have to use. For now, the tetris placeholder is the workaround for the bug that habib found. The bug was introduced by Sony. There isn't really a whole lot anyone can do about it right now.

I think your biggest issue with all of this is trying to understand things that aren't meant to be understood by the average user along with expecting too much. The things work, if you want them to work better you only have one option and that is to learn C become a dev and make it work yourself by modifying parts of the firmware. Again, people that can do that are few and far between.

Although the methods might be a pain to set up initially, be thankful that there are workarounds and that the info is made public. For right now. it is pretty much what it is.

Ok so do you have to make numerous memory cards or just one?

Ok then if that is the only way then to play wirelessly with tetris placeholder needing activating with either reactpsn or psnpatch and using launcher to play games then thats fine.

Ye I know shouldnt be obsessing about knowing everything or expecting too much but I cant help it. Of course I cant be a dev im going crazy just with CFW, I cant imagine EVER being a dev with how much knowledge you need for that.

You only need to create one card. Unless you play enough different games at one time to need more than one. Remember, the original ps2 memory cards would hold quite a bit of game saves before you had to have another.

I wouldnt even know when to create a new memory card if it runs out lol.

I think I might just step away from CFW for some days as I fallen ill because of it. Its stupid I know but its my own fault as I havent understood much.

If it comes to it and im struggling I will read more posts/threads, read tutorials which I need, search google and if I dont get something I will post for help.

In the video I sent you I went to the screen to create the memory card. That is a OFW feature. Go to that click create new and follow the instructions on the ps3, thats it. That feature has been there since day one of the ps3.

And yes, take a few days to relax and come back to it if needed.

Ok so that feature works on CFW as well. Ok thanks.

Ye I will come back but I need a breather for a little bit.

Thank you to you and others who took their time to help me.

I've used ReactPSN on Rebug and it works

i really dont get it why is everyone wasting their time explaining something that has been written and said so many times before.
