Isn't that impliented in 32x core?
[...]Also, I can't change the Scummvm gui theme. There is only the old classic one. I copied some theme zip files (as libreto wiki says) inside system/scummvm/theme folder, but then in the Scummvm menu, when I try to choose a theme, still there is only the old classic one.[...]
I recompiled the scumm core, but in the lite version. The drives inside are so many that if you compile it in the complete version the core will no longer start as the PS3 does not have enough RAM, without even loading a game.
An alternative is to divide the core into several versions to use the appropriate one depending on the game to be loaded.Let me know what you think about it.
Games are starting and playing except they still have the bugs 2003 non-plus had.
The main one being no shadows on Mortal Kombat 2.
I wonder if that is being addressed.
@Crystal @aldostools How to compile RetroArch or cores for PS3 from Linux? I would like for example to compile `crocods` since it's not in the Beta 4. Do I need CellSDK from ps3linux.net? If yes then is it possible to compile it on Debian/Ubuntu or it will work only on Fedora/RHEL?
I've tried to compile but I get `Makefile.ps3:151: /samples/mk/sdk.target.mk` file not found error.
looking at the Makefile.ps3, I think it uses cell sdk rather than psl1ght and the toolchain, but I could be wrong:I haven't tried compiling RetroArch CE, but I think it's using PSL1GHT SDK. Here are various pre-compiled ps3toolchains.

I use PS3 and PSL1GHT SDK on Windows + msys and mingw. For some tools I use cygwin.

I don't personally have the cell sdk, so I can't try it out. I know retroarch is often a pita to compile. I've been able to compile retroarch cores for wiiu, but I was never able to compile the unofficial PS4 version. It can be a confusing compile with dependencies. The RA cores originally were compiled using PS3 SDK. That's why it was removed from the official site.
I thought Crystal was using the code ported to PSL1GHT. However, it seems that he used the version based on the official SDK.
In this case, the leaked PS3 SDK is needed. The links cannot be provided.

@aldostools But aren't the packages on ps3linux.net an official PS3 SDK?The RA cores originally were compiled using PS3 SDK. That's why it was removed from the official site.

@Charles_n_town So you were able to successfully compile RetroArch with psl1ght in Ubuntu? Are there any other patches needed than in RetroArch CE repo?Charles_n_town said:You'll probably be able to compile in Linux. Like I mentioned, I haven't used the cell sdk, but I've used psl1ght on wsl v2/Ubuntu 20.04, which is my main distro. No issues with it.
No, it's using the official sdk/cell sdk, so you need that. And, yes, it's illegal to share it.@aldostools But aren't the packages on ps3linux.net an official PS3 SDK?

But as I understand, cores (or other software) compiled using this SDK are legal to share and that is why there is RA pkg available to download here and on Homebrew? No, it's using the official sdk/cell sdk, so you need that. And, yes, it's illegal to share it.
I think so. I think wmm uses cell, because it's a sprx. But as I understand, cores (or other software) compiled using this SDK are legal to share and that is why there is RA pkg available to download here and on Homebrew?

Great, thanks! And is it possible to compile newest stable RA (1.19.1) for PS3 or it would need more patching?Added CROCODS core.... just go to download cores....
