(SCAM!!!) Site claims to have 8.03 JB

I have no idea whatsoever if this is legit or not. I'm currently on 7.02, but I saw this and thought I'd throw it out there:

The site below *CLAIMS* to have a working HEN for 8.03 (Although they call it CFW... also makes me more suspicious) Noobs beware, there's lots of BS out there. Just wondering if there's any chance it's for real. I did NOT click on the link. I have not tested this. I'm assuming it's a scam until I hear someone smarter than me say otherwise, but thought I'd mention it b/c I know there's some people stuck on 8.xx

Just to reiterate if a noob or lurker finds this I DO NOT recommend you try to JB/HEN your 8.0x console with this... Just wanted to see what the devs think, or if anyone else had seen this yet.

If it is just scam garbage, mods please feel free to delete this thread or add in a warning label or two...

fake. they seem to be close with 7.55 though according to twitter iirc. that 2nd exploit by theflow allows up to that with the webkit. there will probably never be an exploit for current firmware or rather whatever is current at that time. 8.03 will probably come, but I bet it won't be the latest when it does.
 
Hi,i just bought a PS4 with 8.03 fw,Is it posibble to jailbreak?If no then can it be done with downgrading?

no jailbreak. there is a downgrade, but it only works if you have a backup from when it was on lower firmware.
 
I'd suggest reading up on the exploits and how everything is done. the ps4 has the steepest learning curve of any system I've seen. if you do anything besides install pkgs, it's a pita.

7.55 is supposed to be coming. in fact, several payloads have already been updated, just hen needs a lot of work from what I've read. that's from theflow's second exploit. they say 7.51 will likely be next, then 7.55. dunno why exactly though. it's just something I've heard some hackers say. 8.03 will probably happen, but not likely if it's the latest firmware. that will probably never happen, because most hackers hate when the online component becomes trash from cheaters, so they likely won't release it then. there are talks with some of the hackers, like specter dev, that happen periodically as they take you through their code, so you kinda have a better understanding of what's going on. it's interesting stuff.

I am not sure if 7.55 JB is coming anytime soon. There are rumors on upcoming JBs on PS4 but don't pan out. There were many rumor that 6.20 will be coming. It never came and instead we jumped to 6.72 release. PS4 hacking seen has too much rumors.
 
they regularly have twitch feeds where they explain the implementation of hen and the kernel exploits. one was on a couple weeks ago.

edit: the reliability is said to be around 10% like the 7.02 exploit, and it's due to the webkit exploit. they said they were going to rebuild it.
 
about 8.03 and higher...exploits are somehow necessary for everyone,BUT you can not let idiots with cheats online in any case!

Well yeah,You got point.I do hate cheaters online but got to admit,Me also a cheater but i'd preffer offline and i do stay away from online cheats tho.
