I'm seeking help to find the specific "DVD/BD Region Free Bypass" PKG mentioned by Evilnat on Twitter. I have a Japanese PS3 (CECH-2500 series) running Evilnat 4.93 CFW (Cobra 8.5).
I am trying to play physical Region 1 DVDs directly from the XMB, but I keep getting region errors. I have already tried the following steps with no success:
1. multiMAN / WebMAN: Tried changing the DVD Region (to 1 for US) in settings, but the physical disc still won't play.
2. Movian: Attempted to play the disc, but it gives repository errors and fails to decode the physical Region 1 DVD.
3. CFW Tools: Searched through "Custom Firmware Tools > Basic Tools," but the specific "Toggle DVD Region" option isn't solving the issue for this disc.
My Questions:
• Does anyone have a mirror link or the standalone PKG that Evilnat mentioned for bypassing these errors?
• Furthermore, if there are any other methods, homebrew apps, or internal settings that can achieve a region-free experience for physical discs, please let me know. I am open to any working solution.
