Setting Up my PS3 with HEN

Hello.

I'm still sort of new, though I've accomplished a few things.

I've installed HEN to my PS3. My console isn't CFW compatible, not actually, so I used HEN.

I'm still working on a functional external HDD. I'm told I have to format with MBR & it'll only read the first partition of a HDD.

I've copied a few of my games with multiMAN, though a few others didn't successfully copy, not actually. I thought to try & store those as ISO files perhaps & use ISOs when necessary for games that won't copy, not actually.

reActPSN is not HEN compatible, not actually, I've learned.
I'm not certain if Rogero features actually are HEN compatible either, not actually.
*Shrugs*
I have webMAN Mod installed, though I'm still working on my external HDD.

I would like tips for setting up my PS3 system with HEN.
I haven't been able to play PS2 games on my system, not actually. I have a couple of game ISOs for PS2 though.

Any helps would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I'm not sure about the copying issue. But for Reactpsn, you don't actually need it as long as you have webman mod, if you need to activate a PSN game just put the .rap file inside the exdata folder.

For PS2 games you need to encrypt the iso first to get it to work, some PS2 gamers require additional configs to work. This guide has covered most things about HEN.

So, I am thinking it's implied that, I might be able to use an older PlayStation that can install CFW & with that I would be able to make .pkg files for the PlayStation 2 Games that my newer system won't run, not actually?

You can already make PS2 pkg games and install them on newer PS3 models like Super Slim and the Slim models as long as HEN is installed. Converting them is easy, I personally prefer playing the iso directly
Check the guide I've linked for you.

CFW is not necessary to play PS2 games. It just makes things a little bit easier.
