SSD with PS2 games

Hey everyone, was very happy today to install my new 1TB SSD into my ps3 to fill it with games

I made some PS2 Classic Packages, installed them annnnd of course as you might expect it, cause de ps3 to instantly triple beep and shutdown

Of course I've tried to pump up the fans but no luck, also tried to just mount the isos with webman but same stuff happened

Now if you're familiar with this kind of issues... SSD are not recommended and are usually guilty of this problem with ps2 games (which of course I didn't know ... well, I can only blame myself). Some people said it is related to the SSD access speed, do you think trying to limit the SSD somehow would help ? Just dropping ideas

System Spec : PS3 FAT CECH-K / CFW EvilNat (latest 4.91.2-BETA 12)
SSD : PNY CS900 1 TB

Okay so i got some error 2022 and some 2120
Now, I don't understand everything about what they mean cuz I'm a noob, 2120 sounds very generic/wide but 2022 says
> This error could also show when opening and closing a PS2 emulated game in a CFW console, both in Evilnat and Rebug. The errors would be in dyads. If this is the case there is no reason of concern.
Gotta admit it's really hard for me to understand more of this, especially considering I didn't expect hardware issue (other than the ssd) to be the cause of the issue as some ps2 games used to run when I still was on the tiny stock hdd

Try setting upscaling to normal and see if they work. If you have it off, it seems like it'll crash with an SSD.

Ho wow that actually worked, most games are booting fine, I'm very surprised, do you have an idea as to why upscaling would be needed with SSD ?

Anyway thanks a lot guys, I'm glad it can work (as some post made it sound like SSD were complete no go)

I still got a few games (like the gift) returning 80028F17 but I'm quite sure this is unrelated
