Hello have a strange issue with a cech c03
Wonder if any hardware gurus may have a solution?

I had a ps3 brought to me stated missing blueray drive, it was in fact missing the 60 pin fpc connector, so although a pain its no issue I soldered a fpc connector from a dead cok-002 remarried a disk reader all tested working perfectly

Well now I have a issue where the console turns on every time but needs to be rebooted to show hdmi image.

This happens every time its left for more then 10 mins, but will show image on second boot without fail?

Hdd indicator is only showing on 2nd boot also.

Not the biggest issue as it will always work correctly on 2nd boot every time with no issues at all

Things I've tried

Rebuilt database
New psu
New hdd
New cmos battery

Anyone had this before?

With OFW it's the same? I don't know if it's your case, but sometimes when bgas are almost touching pcb (relevant pads to the cause), the console will only go on GLOD, maybe you're in that very thin line in between having a normal working console, and a console with bgas issues. When the console gets warm enough, pads can make contact and show image.

The problem here is that the HDMI IC is also bga. Did you try A/V only?
