ahi esta el archivo espero me puedan ayudar ythere is the file I hope you can help me and many users with the same problem that I have

Thank you, your card appears to initialize fine so it's likely failing somewhere during reads. The CC V2 build contains several changes to the way reads are done which might resolve your issue. Would you be willing to try it? Link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ekhm82nui3ep53h/OPL_BDM_CC_TEST_V2.ELF?dl=0

As a side note, you mentioned in a previous post you are using a SanDisk microSD, however the CID data in the log you uploaded shows a card manufacturer ID of 0x0. SanDisk's manufacturer ID is usually 0x3.

¿Estarías dispuesto a probarlo? Enlace: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ekhm82nui3ep53h/OPL_BDM_CC_TEST_V2.ELF?dl=0

I just finished testing the OPL BDM CC TEST V2.ELF and it loads the game but still gives a black screen when running it

Characteristics of everything I have
1) PS2 model NTSC 79001
2) Genuine 5-pin component cable
3) Mx4sio homemade made by me
4) 40-inch Westinghouse LED TV
5) micro SD Sandisk 4 GB speed 4

Nota: I have several OPLs on my memory card. I don't know if this affects the operation of the OPL TEST?

It shouldn't have any effect. What game(s) are you trying to play?

¿qué hay de aliexpress? ¿Amazonas?

el juego que queriathe game i want to play is rumble racing
En mi país no veoIn my country they don't sell Mx4sio I'm from Venezuela

It's unlikely your DIY mx4sio is at fault. Everything looks fine in the log you uploaded with the 4GB SanDisk (minus its MID of 0x0) and you mentioned it worked fine with another card. I tested the USA release of Rumble Racing with my two SanDisk cards and was unable to reproduce the issue. There are still a lot of edge cases that are hard to debug without logging what's happening in OPL and that requires a little bit of setup.

Here is the file of my generic Kingston canvas select card

hi have tried to play project zero 1, 2 and 3 as well as onimusha Warlord, metal Gear 3 Snake, eater and subsistence as metal slug anthology. The screen goes black or the games freeze, I have used the opl 1.2.0 beta revision 1970

OPL rev 1970 does not contain any of the experimental compatibility changes I'm afraid. You should use the builds linked in my original post. The latest stable build as of writing is OPL BDM 4.7.1 link below:

OPL BDM 4.7.1: https://www.dropbox.com/s/sm1arxht45g15vo/OPL_BDM_4.7.1.ELF?dl=0

ya lo intenté I already tried that version and the same thing happens to me, only in opl bdm CC test v2.elf and it seems to improve in some aspects of the games, but sometimes it just seems like the audio and video synchronization is lost

Off topic:
is it possible that the OPL supports HDD with Exfat/NTFS format (internal HDD for fat PS2) ?

or maybe there was a development before but discontinued? or any dev that tried before?

2nd question:
what is the max SD card capacity for MX4SIO?

what is your MX4SIO? DIY? or pre-made?

Apologies, I interpreted your post as you *only* tried OPL rev 1970. Just to clarify, are the issues you described present in both OPL rev 1970 *and* OPL BDM 4.X?

Could you clarify what you mean by audio and video desynchronization? Like in cutscenes and in what games?

If CC test v2 has better compatibility than 4.x builds that's a sign things are going in the right direction.

1: I'm not sure. There's a member of the PS2-Scene Discord that has been working on improving HDD support and I believe they have a build of OPL with FAT32/exFAT internal HDD support.

2: SDXC is the biggest card format to still support the SPI interface which means the absolute limit is 2TBs. I believe that's the max size the current BDM drivers support as well. I could be mistaken about that last part though
