My name is Ray, I'm 52 aka old, and I live in Myrtle Beach, SC. I am a retro video game enthusiast. I have at least one of every PlayStation model produced to this point. I love the old video games and systems, even the ones that start with A, N, S, and X. I just recently picked up a PS2 Slim and decided to try emulation. I currently have it running on a bitfunx mx4sio card and 128gb onn microsd. I'm still running into issues, which is what led me here. I'm pretty new to the modding scene. I'm very thankful for forums like this and cool people who take the time to explain how to get started with emulation and modding.
One of the big issues that I'm having is with the games freezing or loading and it will not allow me to select the start button. Dont forget being choppy... I am not sure if it is the way that I'm copying the actual game files to the micro sd. One tutorial says that it's best to move them to the SD and then copy them back onto your computer others say the opposite so that's where the confusion sets in. But I would like to have a better understanding as to whether there is a correct or an incorrect way to load games onto the MicroSD and have them playable. I look forward to interacting with you all.
