It would amazing if i can get extenal hard drive to work in ntfs or exfat. but its just not happening.
This was was hen im going to try it on CFW Evilnat 4.90 Cobra 8.4 [CEX] later today.

so due to my own stupidity and blindness i failed to notice that there was already a game_ext_plugin.sprx on the multi_gameboot_mod.zip and went ahead and tried a 1.00 fw file on dev_hdd0\tmp\gameboot\ and turns out the ps3 will shut down to no light. whats this behaviour called ? its not the first time ive had my ps3 do this, on the very rare ocasions it has done this its usually trying to boot up a game or quitting it. anyways its fixed now and working correctly due to finding the correct file

External is still limited to 2TB and has to be formatted for MBR.
Internal is limited to 1TB for all intents and purposes.

EDIT: It seems like the latest update broke the ROM detection. I can no longer find my SNES, NES and GBA roms.

so ive noticed some discrepancy in the reported fan speeds between the fps plugin and what webman reports with start+select and the web server, for example i have mine set to 35% manual on web server but the fps plugin says 36% which one is the right one ?

If your ISO files were deleted from PS3, you need to restore them from a backup device if you have them copied (e.g. PC or USB drive).

Otherwise you will have to make the ISO from your physical discs again.

If you're looking for information about where to download pirated copy of games in ISO or any other format, you're in the wrong forum.

Here is a reminder of the forum rules:

I tried using the video recording sprx , have not modified any setting but i always get this followed by a Recording Error message . I'm on the latest WMM, HEN 3.3.0

I have a problem with the updated webMAN, I use CEX Elvinat 4.91. The webMAN icons appear the same as those in multiMAN. I have already deleted the tmp and xmlhost folders, but nothing changes.

The current maximum is a value between 40% and 95%. You can compile your own build changing these lines in include/setup.h:
webman_config->maxfan = RANGE(webman_config->maxfan, 40, 95); // % <= line 266
HTML_NUMBER("mfs", "%i", "40", "95") " %% %s </tr>", <= line 656

How do I do this? Just edit the "setup.h" file with a text editor?

i have a dvd image that gets detected as a CD and therefore doesn't boot

if it's a ps2 classic, I think that's what can happen with an incorrect limg. it's at the very bottom of the iso.bin.enc in hex iirc. it calculates the filesize and disc type from what I remember.

if it's a dvd image or a dvd itself, I'm not sure. there's probably a way though.

Its a standard ISO. Works in PCSX2.
It's that Gran Turismo 4 - Spec II mod btw.
If packaged as a PS2 classic it works but I don't like to use the software emulator on my first gen PS3

mount_ps2_discfile
Is there a way to force a PS2 image to be detected a CD or DVD?

For PS2 Classics you can specify the media type in the LIMG segment. (1 = DVD, 2 = CD)

For PS2 ISO, Cobra payload auto-detects the media type. By default it assumes the disc being mounted is a DVD. If the disc has more than one track or if CD001 is not found at offset 0x8000 of the ISO image or if the TOC size is 0x800, then Cobra assumes the media type is a CD.

I guess your ISO image could have a TOC size == 0x800. Maybe changing the TOC size at offsets 0x80A6 and 0x80AA in the ISO image could fix your issue. The TOC size is stored twice in little endian and big endian format.
