Small ot, @DeViL303 Installing Launchpad on (my) NAND is taking 7-8 minutes. Probably you can't fix it, just fyi.
Edit: Medium ot, IRISMAN in XMBPD is outdated.
Maybe is just NAND, or is just my NAND. idk, for sure that was only file system operation in this time.7-8 minutes, strange, Its less than 4MB for each FW and it should be no worse than any other installation using the XMBM installer..are you sure you were not FTPing or something else at the same time? I have a NAND phat but I don't test on it much. Anyway you are right, I don't think I can fix that, wouldn't know where to start.
Are you on v0.63 of XMBPD? (you can update from the XMB) Or has there been another update to IRISMAN, its just I added the 4.81 FULL and LITE versions just the other day.
Weird. did you update from the XMB when you installed XMBPD or did you get the full pkg somewhere? if so was it from brewology or dropbox? and had you changed the pkg settings or were you on default "install and delete)? its possible there is still one of the old xmls in there somewhere but im fairly sure there isn't.But it showed for me today (exactly right now..), weird because Installed freshly everything yesterday. Anyway now everything looks fine.![]()
Is it possible you hadn't rebooted for a day?![]()
Hi - the newest v0.63 has no revert to normal funktion. How can I delete XMBPD? Thanks

I have only the XMBPD in the Networks tab, but something strange has happened.
I had to use option number 3 in recovery mode, for other reasons. When the PS3 was restarted the XMBPD had disappeared. So when I installed only XMBM + (without XMBPD), the XMBPD returned to the Networks tab.
So I wonder what the hell happened?![]()

It was nothing,Probably something to do with the lack of a PARAM.SFO for the XMBPD files in the game folder, when you rebuilt the database it must have deleted the folder which included the XMBPD files, But then when you installed XMBM+ you added XMBPD back as it is now included in XMBM+ installer, don't worry too much about it, but thanks for letting me know, I will add a PARAM.SFO to the next release to prevent this from happening in the future.
The installer of Launchpad and the XMBPD installer i deleted. So if I reinstall the pkg of application's , can I use these backups? I did not want to delete the XML from the XMBPD, but just delete the line that queries the tab of network. The XMBPD/Launchpad installer makes a backup of your current files when it installs, incase there is a problem installing you can revert to the way it was before install, with the square button you can delete those backups, no need really as they are only small.
If you was to delete the XMBPD.xml to remove XMBPD and then you wanted it back again then you only need to install the HDD files. When you select the option to install the flash files all it does is add a query to the network xml, so that xml checks if the HDD xml exists, if the HDD xml does exist then the item is shown.

Is true,If you deleted the installer you probably deleted the backups as well, that is normally how this installer works I think.
There is no harm in trying though.
You should avoid deleting system files unless you really know what you are doing. Next time, just rename the file so you can restore it easily if something goes wrong.
If you delete/rename boot_plugins.txt then webMAN-MOD & any other plugin setup there like vsh_menu, psnpatch or SEN Enabler will not be loaded.
I dunno what corrupted data you are talking about exactly but obviously anything using webMAN-MOD will fail to work...

In the future either don't delete the installer or make a copy of the backups folder so you can restore it.Is true,
the backup of the Launchpad and XMBPD are gone
Now how do to the XMB back to running out of Mods?
I plan on staying with the Mods because I really like them, but I need to know how to disable them if I want to uninstall them in the future.
I need a suggestion![]()
You can revert, but is little bit complicated. You can check which files are changed by installer, then FTP them from original PUP cfw. And after that you can perform XMBPD install to make backup of original files, this time just don't delete it.Is true,

So if I install CFW again will the Mods disappear? But I believe the folders will still be inside the game folder in dev_hdd0? Or am I mistaken? In the future either don't delete the installer or make a copy of the backups folder so you can restore it.
Otherwise you must do everything manually.
Finally if everything is messed up & you don't know how to fix it manually you can reinstall the CFW.
