PS VITA / PS TV [UPDATED] CMA Has Been Hacked & Backups Decrypted for all Firmwares even 3.65

UPDATE (FEB 26) Davee of Team Molecule release a CMA Key Generator to ease this Process (UPDATE TAB for additional details) Original Article (FEB. 20) Well the other day I caught wind of this on Reddit but Yifan Lu quickly made it private as it wasn't ready for public use so I didn't report on this. Well it now seems it is ready and the dev has released this to everyone now. This means we can extract anything from CMA backups even 3.61+ or old ones you have with another account etc. And better yet we can repack these adding what we want as well. Please note this doesn't allow for piracy but some tricks can be done as this will allow one to install ARK on 3.61+ systems without the need of being on 3.60 first or a PS3.

Well just days ago I reported on an update to this useful application. Seems another has been pushed via the devs github bringing it up to v1.05 now with a few fixes and added features mentioned below. While the activation of a system hasn't been added (yet but that is because ePSP Bubble Installer 2.0 source isn't public yet) I am sure it is right around the corner. Till then the app seems to offer some really great additions as well as bug fixes seen below.

PS VITA / PS TV PSDK3v3 Updated Again by zecoxao

So have you ever wanted to compile your own Vita homebrew? As we all know of the "brickers" out there, well zecoxao has updated the all to useful SDK again based off Estwald's PSDK3v2. This way you know your system is safe as you made the homebrew yourself. Best of all PSX-Place's own Super Mod @kozarovv has provided a nifty guide to getting setup and using this all to simple SDK. Various tools are included: curl, vtasdk, vita_portlibs,ftpvita,vita2d, psp2link, & debugnet to round out the included tools. See full details on this information and links included. And a big thanks to our Admin @STLcardsWS as well as I am sure he knows why after seeing this as I borrowed some from him on this new post.

So it seems the dev behind EasyInstaller has been updating his project that recently went open source. This time around he has fixed the issue some users had with the ID.DAT as well as adding some other features as well. He implemented CelesteBlue's ePSP Base Game Bubble Creator. Just one less app we need to install but needs to be noted as without his work this would not be in this app at least not in this update. So big props to all open source developers.

So you own a Vita or PlayStation TV and want to use Remote Play? Well if you are a HENkaku user and didn't so this prior to losing PSN access you have been out of luck till earlier this week when Yifan Lu released a method of doing this. I wrote an article about his method and then I even posted a tutorial using other tools to make it a tad bit simpler for everyone involved but now there is a way to do this by simply running an application developed earlier today that has automated the entire process.

So it seems developer CelesteBlue has updated his app (ePSP Bubble Installer) and as promised, now you can not only install Adrenaline or ARK without the need of a PSP bubble but you can now finally activate your system without the need of a PS3!!! This is a tool that quickly install a mini ePSP bubble for use with Adrenaline or ARK .No need to be on IDU or to have a PS3. Moreover, the bubble will only cost you 3.5MB ! Since v2.0, you can even activate your PSVita directly through the app ! Open the app and follow what is written on screen. Enjoy, finally, ARK and Adrenaline.

Well if you are like me and have been eagerly awaiting a way to use external storage space seems it may be closer than we all think. Vita Developer "TheFlow" has not said if this is specifically for the PlayStation TV or the PS Vita. It could be for both systems for all I know as he is known for being cryptic and sarcastic but the picture does display a television and the new feature he has added into VitaShell. So for now keep your fingers crossed and hope this is for both. If anything else should arrive at as always I will keep you informed.
PS VITA / PS TV Yifan Lu Releases PS4 Link Method for taiHENkaku

Well I reported earlier this week famed Vita hacker Yifan Lu released Netcheck Bypass that allowed certain apps or games to be used again like Vita Media Server. It did not however allow one to use PS4 Link on your system. While the theory was it was a "token" used to activate this it seems that simply was not the case. Well now the hacker has written up a nice little guide on how to use this feature again with a little work on the end users side. It should be noted the Netcheck Bypass can still be used to bypass the annoying nag screen prompting for PSN sign in with this guide

So earlier this week my child managed to log into Netflix on my PS3 without logging into PSN. Thanks to @Joonie the method to do this is now known. Before you go and get to happy so far only users of the latest NA Netflix app in the US have had success doing this as well. Here is a terrible video just to show it is working fine.

So Yifan lu has released a Netcheck Bypass despite stating he would only be working on hacking F00D, the equivalent to lv0 on the PS3 which might spell checkmate for our beloved systems for those of us that stayed on 3.60, as for those that went to 3.61+ it might not be the same story due to Sony changing the keys an authentification of the PlayStation Network after the initial release of the hack. Again much like the PS3 but this time we have no way of downgrading at this point and time.
