PSP RetroArch Hits The PSP
RetroArch hits the PlayStation Portable today. RetroArch is the very popular multi-system emulator that many know from the PlayStation 3 scene and others. The Beta release supports various cores, namely tempGBA, fceumm, prboom and more. Future [break].[/break]versions will support more cores as explained via the source below.
PS3 Universal Media Server 5.0.0-a1
Universal Media Server reaches version 5 today. The alpha build, which requires JAVA version 7 and upwards, adds universal plug and play support. Also in the mix is file name referencing via IMDB and HTML 5 support. [break].[/break]Full changelog listed below. 
PS VITA / PS TV Webkit Exploit Now Compatible With PS Vita TV 3.20
Following up on yesterdays article regarding the webkit exploit for the PlayStation Vita, developer Davee is back with some more good news. This time around it is for those who have purchased the recently released PlayStation Vita TV. If you have the little box on firmware 3.20 you are in luck as Davee [break].[/break]has ported the webkit exploit to the device as shown in a Tweet some hours ago.

PS3 SubJunk & Co Roll Out Universal Media Server 4.2.0
Universal Media Server, the DLNA compliant UPnP media server, reaches version 4.2.0 today which adds further support for 3D rendering. These include 2D to 3D subtitle conversion as well as 3D video conversion. The update also addresses a few bugs for Windows and OS X users by updating FFmpeg. Devices such as [break].[/break]the Xbox One console, Panasonic and Philips TV's also get improved support.

PS4 More PS4 Firmware 2.00 Features Announced
A while back it was announced that the upcoming PlayStation 4 2.00 update would add theme support for the console. Many have been waiting for the update and its release date. Reading over at the PlayStation blog, SCEA's Scott McCarthy has once again revealed[break].[/break] further features that you can look forward to. 
PS3 PS3DumpChecker Build 468 Released
Developer Littlebalup released an update to PS3DumpChecker. In build 468 of the Windows application the dev introduces many fixes which can be viewed below. Remember that tools such as these should be used as a guidance tool to validate NAND/NOR dumps. Always use multiple tools to verify your dumps prior to flashing your console.

Developer Quake has updated §imple PS3Updates, a application that you can use on Windows to download PlayStation 3 game updates. The application, now in build eight of version 1.6, fixes a file handling issue and other minor bugs.[break].[/break]
