Developer big_Sakis25 (of VitaHEX Games) follows up the homebrew game Crazy Traffic Jam 3D, with an exciting release PRO Camera Via, which brings an amazing amount of features in this Camera App that no doubt supersedes the official camera app capabilities. With this release the dev has unlocked all the hidden features while also bringing a feel that is familiar to what we would find in most smartphone camera interfaces. Included is a BETA Gallery which perhaps once this application matures a PSTV variant can be used for quick editing of photos stored, but for PS Vita internal camera , i think most user's who use the feature will see this is as a welcome and exciting release from VitaHEX Games

One of the best things that could happen to the PlayStation TV (Vita TV) was the AntiBlackList (Whitelist) patches that removed the restricted that will only allow certain Vita games to be played. While it did not make every single game playable, those patches did open most of the library up to user's., but some games would still proved to problematic leaving a bit of unknowns why some titles would not work, but developer OperationNT stumbled on to something very interesting with this new FakeCamera Plugin. This plugin is important for PlayStation TV (Vita TV) because some games would call for the Vita Camera and we all know that the PSTV does not come with a camera only the Vita itself. The dev has two new titles confirmed to work with this method, If you stumble on to another game let us know in the comments below, view all the details from OperationNT.

PlayStation 3 user's have not seen a working Neo-Geo Pocket emulator (libretro Core) since way back on v1.0.0.2 of RetroArch (Ps3). Since that time we have seen the core with a regression for the PS3 (& other ports) making the core unusable. but ps3 dev and libretro contributor @Ezio as promised (when releasing the CFW -CEX / ODE variants) that a fix for Neo Geo Pocket was made (by developer R-Type) and the core was working a fix pkg for v1.6.3 would be released. That time has come as Ezio stopped by the forums to share this now working Neo-Geo Pocket Core for the PS3. Install version 1.6.3 then you can proceed to install this fix pkg afterwards.

Not only was RetroArch updated for exploited PS3 Consoles (CFW & ODE) but also the PS Vita / PlayStation TV port (with most other ports being updated as well). In this update of v1.6.3 the Vita platform has a couple new welcomed additions. The first being Cheevos Support (Achievements) & also then also External USB Support has been added to the mult-System emulator that comes bundled with plenty of Retro emulation that will take you back to the roots of gaming.. Truly has been great to see the success of a Homebrew on that runs on so many platforms that has a deep root in the PlayStation Homebrew Scene. The project continues to evolve even on this early port still for the Vita Platform.

The libretro team has released a new update the PS3 port of RetroArch, supplying a DEX version for Custom Firmware users, ps3 dev & libretro Contributor @Ezio follows up that release with a CEX version and also a ODE version for user's who may be using one of the Opical Disc Emulators (ODE). This update comes equipped with the missing cores from v1.6.0 and this might be the first release for the PS3 to contain the o2em core, which is a simple Odyssey 2 & Videopac+ emulator for those wondering. but Ezio_PS does confirm the Atari ProSystem emulator is now fully working once again and for those who have been awaiting a fix to Neo Geo Pocket there is very good news about that core on the horizon View all the details and downloads available for Custom Firmware (CEX & DEX) and Optical Disc Emulator (aka ODE) versions of the popular multi-system emulator that now contains 27 libretro cores. (note: neo-geo pocket has incoming fix as Ezio explians).
