Yes sorry I have the SCART cable that comes with the console, it says here that the component video mode supports all resolutions to 1080pWith the console does NOT come a VGA-Cable... PS2-VGA-Cables sell for exorbitant prices (like 300€).
FALSE! FALSE, FALSE, FALSE, FALSE!
I didn't say that a SCART cable is on the image and it's weird that VGA has more 480p and 576p resolutions, and the 720p and 1080p modes don't work in GSM
- That is neither SCART, nor VGA, nor does it come with the console... It is component!
- Does the picture you have posted Show any other resolutions than those which are already in GSM? No? Go figure why... Because we can NOT just use any output-resolution!
FALSE! FALSE, FALSE, FALSE, FALSE!
The Video-Modes the PS2 can output through its analogous Video-Audio-Connector are analog and NOT DIGITAL!Actually it says here that the digital video has more resolutions https://gist.github.com/jonlabelle/7834592

On the image that I sent you it says digital component video, and shouldn't both component modes output same resolutionsIn YOUR picture, it ACTUALLY says "allowing higher resolutions" and NOT like you claimed "all resolutions to 1080p"!!
The Video-Modes the PS2 can output through its analogous Video-Audio-Connector are analog and NOT DIGITAL!
Learn to read the facts instead of listening to your bugged interpretion of the things you read.
Again... The PS2 only outputs analog signals! On the image that I sent you it says digital component video,
They DO output the same resolution...and shouldn't both component modes output same resolutions
No! That is FALSE! That is what you just assume and it is FALSE!Anyway the component mode should support all resolutions that VGA has
Yes I knowAgain... The PS2 only outputs analog signals!
It depends on the TV and it's resolution, for me the HDTV 576p looks fine but the image quality and performance is way better on the HDTV 480pThey DO output the same resolution...
Your picture is not "zommed in", because the internal resolution of the picture is smaller, resulting in a smaller picture within the output-resolution...
Yes but the 720p and 1080p modes in GSM don't work, the image is buggedNo! That is FALSE! That is what you just assume and it is FALSE!
Different connections support specific standards/output-resolutions, or I could set the VMode to VESA 800x600 or HDTV 1080i over SCART...
Your own posts prove, that you don't know anything about the topic.Yes I know
We were talking about 480p vs 480p (448p internal)...It depends on the TV and it's resolution, for me the HDTV 576p looks fine but the image quality and performance is way better on the HDTV 480p
Yes but the 720p and 1080p modes in GSM don't work, the image is bugged
