6 or 7 seconds is the average time it takes to apply the patch to a NAND console, it's perfectly normal. The same process takes about 1mn30 or something on NOR.Hi, I'm having issues similar to few users around here. Cannot install any OFW/HFW/CFW and patch on bgtoolset only seems to take 6 or 7 seconds to apply.
The phat Ps3 I'm working was used for HEN at some point.
Also I can only dump the flash memory before patching. After applying the patch it gives me an error.
PS3 Model: CECH-A01
Firmware Version: 4.85
Firmware Type: OFW CEX or HFW CEX (I cannot tell)

Have Original Dump: yes [REMOVED]
Have Patched Dump: No
Dump 2 URL:

System Boots To Recovery: Yes

If there is any more info you need, let me know.
Thanks for all your work
I am going to assume that you got this problem last month & are trying to solve it now because the issue you experienced was fixed over 4 weeks ago in the 1.0.22 update..
However, there is something missing in your report, to be able to give you further instructions, we need a dump made after the last patching attempt so you will need to boot your ps3 to XMB, load the Toolset 1.0.22, just make a new NAND dump, nothing more, mask its IDPS then post it here in this thread.
esc0rtd3w will look at it & send you a PM with instructions to fix your console.
