Hey everyone! I have a head scratcher where when I power down my CECHB it does the 3 beeps and flashes red until I hit the power button again. Everything I search has this condition related to overheating and the unit shutting down randomly, but my temps are good and it's only when I shut the console down on my own. It seems to happen more with dynamic fan control on, either via Webman or the Cobra tools. I swapped fans, power supply, hdd, even power buttons. Restored file system, rebuilt database, and started over with a fresh CFW. Has new thermal paste also, but again the temps are fine. Runs games fine. Has anyone experienced this? I've set up several ps3s with this exact build of Evil Nat 4.88.2, Webman, etc on a usb stick and haven't had any of these issues with others.

It is the NEC Tokin caps failing. Happened to my CECHB-01 and that was the fix. It is from failing hardware that isn't completely dead.

I would recommend you try the syscon diagnosing route before going all in with NEC tokins. If the console runs fine, especially during games then it probably isn't the tokins. For like 6 bucks you can get a uart USB to read the error codes from your console.
