PS3 Does HEN disable Disc Auto Start?

After enabling HEN on my PS3. The Disc auto start doesnt work. The Disc Auto Start setting is also set to ON in the System Settings menu.

Is this normal?

Still looking for an answer to this.

Sorry for the late response. Yes, ive tried it and still has no effect.

Edit: I have also tried with different games on both my main account and the new temp user account and there is no effect.

Maybe the issue is related to category_game.xml, since many "conditional items" were removed.

Try to add this


<Table key="seg_device">
<Pair key="focus_detect"><String>enable</String></Pair>
</Table>


and change the attr of seg_bdv to seg_device too
<Query class="type:x-xmb/folder-pixmap" key="seg_device_bdv" attr="seg_device" ......

I have the same issue on CECH-3004 with HEN v3.4.0.
I mean after inserting a disc with a (PS3) game there is no autoboot.

Would greatly appreciate any patches regarding this issue TBH.

And would also love if they kept the original PS3 boot logo on regular startups. While the PS3HEN boot logo is only reserved for when the device is restarted in HEN mode.

There is no "HEN Mode" that can swap out the coldboot logo. Its not possible to have 2 different coldboots for HEN since the system must be booted first to even enable HEN.

You can easily put the old coldboot back with homebrew tools, ftp, etc, or you can install the stock blue theme to restore the old logo.

Where is the localization of this file (category_game.xml) that needs to be replaced?

I understand. Can i ask if there are any tutorials on how to get the old theme back or other custom ones? I only have Apollo Save tool. I have no experience with any other tools.
