Do you think having the rest of the hardware attached to the motherboard would affect the bootup attempt error or not? Not sure if this helps but the model of the unit is CECHK01 NTSC U/C. Also when I tried the bringup and powerstate commands I was in the internal command mode (diag was grounded). Not sure if this would make a difference.
@M4j0r Not sure how to switch the firmware bank via the syscon eeprom flag, just learning how all this syscon stuff works and I think I have somehow managed to get the worst luck with the console being as bad as it is.
