So, you solve error 2032???, Pls replay me and show me how do you do it, I have same error and 2031-2032-2033, which are related to thermal sensor to cell,SB and RSX

you to wiring external thermal sensors to thermal monitor of each

I solve A0A02031 error by soldering transistor 2N3906 to T1L chip (see datasheet to ADT7461A there displayed about the way to make external 'thermal' transistor) It will help, if the problem only in dead RSX thermal diod. But as usual the problem is bigger than that

Don't know if this is off-topic, but is delidding still recommended? Just acquired an untouched CECHA01, never YLODed. Should I do it to extend its life or leave it untouched?

Dia 001 turns off after 20-30 seconds, flashes red. Errlog does not display errors, but if you turn it on without heatsinks, then errors 1200 and sb error appear

The set-top box turns off, there are no errors when viewing errlog. What could be the reason?

Well for improving thermal dissipation yeah it is recommended
for a noob try out its not you'll destroy the substrate if you force it too much.

Hello,

Recently I am experiencing YLOD problem, which, at first glance, looked for me like bad NEC/TOKIN capacitors - whenever I start my PS3 and goes to XMB, after 1-2 minutes it freezes the screen and throws YLOD. But it happens really in irregular manner - sometimes it's 1-2 minutes in XMB, and sometimes is during switching games, meaning I exit a game after 1-2h session and while exitting it throws me YLOD. But never while playing games. So I dumped the error log using the PS3 advanced tool and this is the result:

Don't be bothered by strange dates, as I was fiddling around with the battery on the motherboard. But as you can see, I've got errors 1601, 1701, which I think are related to software issues and also 2022 and 1001. I recall I had around 5-6 YLODs and that would be logical, so 5 out of 6 are realted to A0802022 and one related to A0801001. As far as I checked on the internet, this 2022 is very rare and might be related to one of the audio/video circuits and this 1001 means probably bad caps on CELL. But that's really weird, I started experiencing these YLODs very, very recently, previously I opened the PS3, delidded both processors, applied high quality thermal compound, I replaced all thermal pads. In no case any temperatures (both CELL and RSX) are not exceeding 58 degrees, event after long session in TLOU. And these YLODs are ocurring not even right after I delidded processor/replaced thermal compounds and so on, a lot of time has passed since that. Maybe you've got suggestions what might have gone wrong? Or maybe I am interpretting it wrong?

1001 is cell vrm
2022 is dve error a/v chip related
1601 and 1701 are cell attention high and livelock possibily a clock generator issue probably applied too much press or damaged substrate traces while delidding.

Do I need to do anything? What does it mean? This DVE controller must be replaced? What is Cell vrm?

cell vrm is cell voltage regulation
dve is av controller might work without it
cel livelock and attention well thats either bga cracking or you a substrate trace that pretty much a deadend

Okay, so I presume dead NEC/TOKIN caps on CELL?

Hmmm, I delidded some time ago both the RSX and CELL. I delidded perfectly the Cell, as there are no scratches on the processor, so I don't suppose it's caused by me. Maybe that's because I tightened the screws too much on the processors? I wil loosen them a bit.

So if this AV controller is dead, console should still work fine?

yeah your tokins are gone maybe the insufficient power is causing cell to lockup
multiav is pretty much dead yeah but will console still boot i don't know.
