Mounted games not showing

I have an idea @DEX357 . do you have ps2 isos and ps2 classics on your system? with mm, you have to choose one or the other; with wmm, it can use both at the same time.

That's an issue with COBRA not patching VSH properly, did you use SEN by any chance?
again what's the firmware for this test?

It's a common issue with COBRA w/ either bad porting or broken by disabled syscalls (SENabler or PSN Patch)
But Joonie please follow the thread, on 4.81 habib 1.02 PS2 iso works via new WMM. And i know, @Alexander Ferrox 4.82 v1.01 Cobra 7.55 is broken :P

Yeah because HABIB didn't make mistakes on his COBRA port. I've been following your mixed up test reports that are not related to REBUG and I already told you not EVERY COBRA payload is the same.

Less about this ps2 on ferrox it's just alexander probably will take care of it. The first applications were for copying files to disk (and not ready WMM and freez on xml refresh) For deactivating COBRA or WMM I do not know which one turns off (after copying games randomly), problems were on REBUG, Ferrox, Habib. But now I will do some new tests from webMAN 1.45.11, on those CFW whether these problems occur.

I do not use ps2 classics from where habib has added PS2 ISO witch config mount functions to COBRA.

@DEX357 you've done terrible jobs on your testing you should know, in previous posts, there were like 4-5 considerable variables addressed and that's not how you test your stuff and report.

There are many different reasons why stuffs are broken because of following reasons.

1. manager issue due to payload
it can be manager specific issue due to its own way of doing things (multiMAN , MANAGUNZ, IRISMAN, webMAN)

2. COBRA specific issue due to payload
it can be COBRA specific depending on who and how

3. Hardware specific issue
it can be due to broken BD module , Bad HDD , bad USB and such

4. Ripping issue
it can be due to bad ripping from bad source

5. USER ERROR
it can be caused by modifying CFW <- a lot of times users do some heavy mod stuff that are not compatible with certain CFW or Higher version of CFW due to the mod being outdated (mostly SEN Enabler and other user mod that changes VSH or other PRX modules)

and here's the common ones I know

1. PSX framerate issue (PAL on PAL and NTSC on NTSC shouldn't have this issue, but issue can occur due to bad COBRA port)

2. PS2 shutdown issue
2-1. permission issue caused by bad repacking CFW (PUAD 1.5 was used, or replaced ps2 emulator via FTP)
2-2. Cobra payload issue caused by bad porting ,disabled syscalls or user modification

3. Manager issues <- the most difficult one to isolate
3-1. The most common one is broken BD module that is not fully compatible with COBRA.
3-2. Manager specific issue - so far the most problems I saw was coming from the webMAN MOD especially since new wm_proxy, the most common issue is freezing while mounting games or freezing while launching games on startup
*** there are many different revisions on webMAN MOD, and your test result WILL BE AFFECTED by webMAN MOD if it's loaded while testing OTHER MANAGERS ***
3-3. any apps that can disable syscalls can affect this as well, once syscalls are disabled, CFW features are mostly disabled

and so far @DEX357 reported all of these issues in one post and started blaming latest CFWs broken. and myself's been using only one brand of CFW that I've been developing and I've been thru almost all issues but I do not have any of them as of today

CECHA01 w/ REBUG 4.82.2 REX [ COBRA 7.55]
CECHE01 w/ REBUG 4.82.2 REX [ COBRA 7.55]

If you want to find out what the issue is then stop switching CFWs and managers and focus on one thing at a time.

And instead of posting one comment at a time, just join discord channel instead, it's getting super annoying

Well, it's going to present different glitch/problems.
The preferred CFW that I have been using for a year is STARBUCKS 4.81 COBRA 7.50 CFW v1.02.
Initial tests performed on this CFW. Later on FERROX 4.82 v1.01 COBRA 7.55, Rebug 4.82.2 REX. SEN not used once on any of the consoles long ago and many formatting ago, BR work on the bluray drive works correctly on both consoles, the temperatures are correct, syscalls ON on every cfw and both consoles (which means that cfw is not blocked to work), max memory for WMM,
Boot plugin only (webftp_server.sprx) on each console. Other homebrows on disk have no influence on CFW, Retroarch, ScummVM, Movian, YT nopsn, PSP Launcher [Official by COBRA] v2.0
Tests make with multiMAN v04.82.00, FileManager v1.33, webMAN MOD 1.47.08 (with minor changes in files, icons, language improvement not affecting the operation of WMM) and today's tests for features 2504b with Ferrox wmm 1.45.11.

1. webMAN MOD 1.47.08, The problem of not ready (8071053d) WMM, although it shows information that it is loaded, after copying
data (Games ps3, ps2) in large quantities per disk, occur randomly on each mentioned CFW. Using MM and FM file managers. Tests made on 2 models PS3, Cech04 and Cech2504b (on 2 disks, 120GB SSD and 320 HDD and 500 GB for Cech04). Empty disk and a lot of files (a lot of ROM) result everywhere the same on both disks and on disk 500GB cech04. After copying to an internal disk from ISO, JB or other files, randomly WMM is deactivated. Refreshing XML Freez PS3 (Hard power off) on 1.47.08;

1.1. Temporary solution:
A) Restarts the console, re-loads the WMM correctly. And it works normally.
B) If A does not help, then reinstall the WMM.

2. Mounting PS2 ISO does not work for Ferrox neither 1.47.08 or 1.45.11 and noncobra method MM, FM. Submitted for solution.

3.PS2 ISO via COBRA mounted by WMM, and without COBRA MM and FM works for the rest of CFW tested habib, rebug correctly.

4. PSX tests performed in the past on Rebug 4.80 REX (similar results to current tests), current tests on HABIB 4.81 and Ferrox 4.82. (Cech2504b);
webMAN 1.45.11
PAL ps1_netemu off (cutscenes no lag)
NTSC ps1_netemu off (laggs)
PAL ps1_netem on (no laggs)
NTSC ps1_netemu on (black screen)
webMAN MOD 1.47.08
1.PAL p1_netmeu off (cutscenes lag)
2.PAL p1_netemu on (cutscenes lag)
3.NTSC p1_nemetu off (cutscenes lag)
4.NTSC p1_nemetu on (black screen)

1.47.08;
Habib4.81 / FERROX 4.82 and old REBUG 4.80 (tested a long time ago)
4.1.In WWM ps1_netemu signet, mounted game start with black screen.
4.2.Ps1_netemu unsignet, video game laggs and audio.
4.3.Mounted Iso vi File Manager without WMM. Game start Video no lagging but audio lagg in cutscenes (In some games).

FERROX 4.82
"Since the game was PAL while my unit is NTSC, I had to reset my video setting, which is quite buggy

It looks like whatever firmware you're using is broken.

Running PSX games via homebrew will not have this issue. According to the original COBRA dev, "Homebrew that launch directly PSX games do not suffer the problem, because this problem is caused by vsh." ~ by Joonie
A profound problem for NTFS and PAL support for some CFWs

5. PSP Launcher only works in the official version from COBRA for HABIB 4.81, and FERROX 4.82 (REBUG 4.82.2 not tested) the rest of the releases do not load the game. Charging is not once a problematic psp launcher cries out for licenses, temporary repair reinstall PSP Launcher or restart PS3.

I apologize for the confusion and not accurate information on the tests I hope it will clear up the situation.

From reading that check to see if all debug settings are correct np especially.

and double install same CFW just like advised by OFW and clean install WMM that means total deletion of TMP.
and webftp_server.sprx

I did a dozen tests on Ferrox 4.82 1.01. In two ways regarding point 1.
I have removed all WMM 1.47.08 files from the disc.
1. I have reinstalled WMM 1.47.08. I made a few copies on the disk and from the disk on the pendrive.
After leaving FM to XMB WMM deactivated, Refresh XML freez PS3, Restart or reinstall WMM to fix temporarily. On 10 copy games, 7 caused this random error.
2. Test the second way, I removed all WMM 1.47.08 files, and reinstalled WMM 1.47.08 (I repeated point 1 and there were glitch), after which I made downgrade to wmm 1.45.11 (without deleting files 1.47.08), and on wmm 1.45.11 I installed 1.47.08. I repeated 10 copy games to the disk and there was never a problem with (not WMM readiness or XML refresh after refresh, error in settings wmm 8071053d)

do you mean that there's no longer a "webman not ready" problem?

After doing ad. 2 I did not have any problems with it. I even tried to make this glitch and it did not work, probably some files mixed up with the old one in the new version, and I did not realize the problem of "WMM not ready".

that didn't work for me. :( I'm still getting a webman not ready message after exiting a ps2 game.

Are you using custom CFW packed by PUAD 1.5 ?

no, just normal rebug. I think the problem is with webman mod. I've tried different variations of the files, but nothing has worked. it only happens with ps2 games too. I enter, exit immediately, then try to load something. it's like the entire internet no longer works. I can't use webman mod, ftp, or surf the net after this happens. it always says "webman mod not ready."

I am surprised that the installation of the old version and the new version on old fixes this problem for me, it should not be like this.

I tried several versions of webman mod, and none of them worked. I even tried extracting the ftp sprx out of the folder, then setting that up in boot_plugins. I also tried with and without the vsh menu, with and without psn patch. vsh menu loads after a ps2 game iirc, just not webman mod. it doesn't make any sense.

Have you only tested on REBUG? Are you on other CFW too? if not, then Habib 4.81 1.02.

I am not sure why there are so many issues with webMAN MOD lately.

This is the main reason why I took it off from REBUG since I got so many reports from webMAN MOD related issues that were not related to the CFW itself.
