@DEX357 you've done terrible jobs on your testing you should know, in previous posts, there were like 4-5 considerable variables addressed and that's not how you test your stuff and report.
There are many different reasons why stuffs are broken because of following reasons.
1. manager issue due to payload
it can be manager specific issue due to its own way of doing things (multiMAN , MANAGUNZ, IRISMAN, webMAN)
2. COBRA specific issue due to payload
it can be COBRA specific depending on who and how
3. Hardware specific issue
it can be due to broken BD module , Bad HDD , bad USB and such
4. Ripping issue
it can be due to bad ripping from bad source
5. USER ERROR
it can be caused by modifying CFW <- a lot of times users do some heavy mod stuff that are not compatible with certain CFW or Higher version of CFW due to the mod being outdated (mostly SEN Enabler and other user mod that changes VSH or other PRX modules)
and here's the common ones I know
1. PSX framerate issue (PAL on PAL and NTSC on NTSC shouldn't have this issue, but issue can occur due to bad COBRA port)
2. PS2 shutdown issue
2-1. permission issue caused by bad repacking CFW (PUAD 1.5 was used, or replaced ps2 emulator via FTP)
2-2. Cobra payload issue caused by bad porting ,disabled syscalls or user modification
3. Manager issues <- the most difficult one to isolate
3-1. The most common one is broken BD module that is not fully compatible with COBRA.
3-2. Manager specific issue - so far the most problems I saw was coming from the webMAN MOD especially since new wm_proxy, the most common issue is freezing while mounting games or freezing while launching games on startup
*** there are many different revisions on webMAN MOD, and your test result WILL BE AFFECTED by webMAN MOD if it's loaded while testing OTHER MANAGERS ***
3-3. any apps that can disable syscalls can affect this as well, once syscalls are disabled, CFW features are mostly disabled
and so far
@DEX357 reported all of these issues in one post and started blaming latest CFWs broken. and myself's been using only one brand of CFW that I've been developing and I've been thru almost all issues but I do not have any of them as of today
CECHA01 w/ REBUG 4.82.2 REX [ COBRA 7.55]
CECHE01 w/ REBUG 4.82.2 REX [ COBRA 7.55]
If you want to find out what the issue is then stop switching CFWs and managers and focus on one thing at a time.
And instead of posting one comment at a time, just join discord channel instead, it's getting super annoying
