PS3 PS2 Classic GUI v2.2.3

While playing SH:O PS2 game press PS button. Now push and hold 7 seconds: Left d-pad + L1 + R1 + Square. Release all buttons, and push Start.

You should see now little bit different menu. At top will be displayed "config revision". Post result here.

appeared the menu SLUS-21731 (1.00) revision of the configuration file: none
build r17495-main-rel
I have to change something in the configuration

Your config for some reason is not read. That's why it won't help. :D Do you used config from "original" folder?

Custom folder since the original is for CFW
Ok, just checking :) No idea why but your config is not added to pkg. Or not read by emulator. My bet is that is not added to pkg. Try recreate PKG, and check that config is visible in that secret menu. If it is, you will see

SLUS-21731 (1.00) revision of the configuration file: 16886

Well, I do not know if it has to do with the case, but in the folder PS2PKG / USRDIR there is a new file called CONFIG but it has no extension, not even the PKG only has a file name

revision of configuration file: none
I'll be doing something wrong to use the configuration in the Ps2Classics GUI

first I choose the game and then I encrypt it, then I insert the CONFIG and I encrypt it again, and I end up creating the PKG and then the Resigner and that's it, that's all I do
In the end I solved it now I can play Silent Hill Origins without the damn blank screen thanks for helping me
