PS3 Tools Collection by aldostools

PS3 PS3 Tools Collection - by Aldostools (Includes Over 50+ Tools/Utility for your CFW Enabled PS3) v4.8.1

To me, this sounds eerily similar to the Avira bug described in the Avira support forum.
My guess is that exceptions are working fine except when they are not in place before a first false positive comes up AND the false positive is not dealt with by setting an exception directly from the "Virus Found" pop up & refusing to add the file to Quarantine...
When that happens, Avira recognises the exact file version, most likely using its checksum, and keeps getting rid of it automatically despite the exception settings.
Something along those lines...

There must be a way to reinitialize the way Avira deals with the PKG_ContentID.exe file to work around this issue though...

Is there documentation ie guides on how to use the different tools in your collection?

Also, are any of them still being updated?
Bruteforce savedata for instance, does not update the DB even if I run as admin and/or choose to clear and replace the DB.

Would also appreciate if I could find some guide to put updates, dlc and such into the games, to have a more easy to maintain library using PS3 extra creator and PS3 updates. I know you somehow can merge multiple Updates/patches into one, but never managed to do so.

I haven't been able to find any documentation or userguides for almost any of the tools.

Do I need to activate my cfw PS3 on PSN to be able to use bruteforce savedata on my saves?
I can't decrypt my saves due to error of missing secure id keys.

Don't really feel comfortable with going online with my console.

No. The 90% of the secure_id keys can be bruteforced using the decrypted EBOOT.BIN (eboot.elf).

Alternatively you can use webMAN MOD full edition to get the secure id key using the web command /secureid.ps3 to hook the plugin to ps3_savedata_plugin and dump the key into /dev_hdd0/secureid.log

Also you can find keys, cheats and support in http://bruteforcesavedata.forumms.net

Well, the keys exist in games.cfg. bfsd simply fails to find them.

I tried running as admin, reinstalling unlocking the saves for use on any PS3, Rebug fake save..

The only thing I can find that differs from OFW is the absence of a account id..

Check that the secure id key and title id are in games.conf (not games.cfg).

If that fails, use a games.conf with only that game in this format:
Code:
[BLxxxxxxx]
secure_file_id:*=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Also check that there are not leading/trailing spaces or tabs in the lines.

That's what I meant. The keys are there and in the correct format. It still won't let me decrypt. After trying it says unreadable on my saves.

Also check your global.conf, it should look like this. Make sure that user_id matches with your actual user id.
Code:
; Global settings
[global]
user_id=00000001
console_id=00000000000000000000000000000000

Global.conf looks good too.

I'm even running bsd in contact compatibility mode as admin..

Update: seems there's something else going on. At launch it checks for updates, but even after updating it reverts back to v3.2 (cheats repo).

PM me your save to check if I get the same issue.

Seems it's a compatibility issue with Windows 10 64bit... BSD runs great if I'm using Windows 10 32bit or win7 32bit.

Although the issue with BSD reverting back to previous version still applies. Found a workaround by manually replacing the files via explorer..

This is a fantastic toolbox that I've used for a long time - THANKS ALDO!.

Recently setup a new Windows 10 VM and had to hunt for the installer, finally found 4.8.1 here, but the mirrors are all but gone. Of the 13 listed - 3 work, 9 don't have the file and 1 prompts for registration (no thanks). Maybe time for a fresh upload?

@aldostools
I think i broke something but i don't know how...
Ps3 file splitter isn't displaying the GUI anymore. I can see it's open, it's working (with the extention shell) but i cannot see the window.
So, I removed the folder c:/user/zar/ps3tools.... I made a "clean register" with ccleaner ..and reinstalled it.... but still get the same issue.
Any idea how to fix it ?

Close the program, run regedit.exe and delete the registry key of the tool found in:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\VB and VBA Program Settings

Hi guys,
I'm looking for the version PS3 Tools Collection 4.8.1 by Aldo, someone can help me

If you will kindly could tell me Hash of the original installation file (MD5, CRC32), known that those that I find on youtube and web sites all have different CRC32,MD5 one with the other, I would not want to have injected malware in the installation

thanks in advance :)
