PS3 PS3 turn off after a minute. Safe mode works. HDD faulted.

Hi Friends,

I would like to ask some help from you.

So, I've got a FAT PS3 (CECHG04).
The problem, I turned on it, but after one minute it does turned off.
I try the safe mode, that is worked, but, I can't restore the filesystem or the PS3 system. If I'm in safe mode, the PS3 worked for hours without any problem.
Checked the hdd (1 TB SSHD), that is totally faulted, millions of bad sectors... Can't repair the partition of it.
I bought another one, a normal 500GB WD Blue SATA for repair the system.
But I can't.
The file system repair started (preparing...) and stucked there...
The PS3 system repair started and turn off after some time or got a message (this happened more times) "the system storage cannot be accessed".
I cleaned the disk in diskpart and create a FAT32 on it and try again, but the problem same...

I do not have information about, it was jailbreaked or not.

So I do not have more idea, what can I do...

Any help would be great and I will really thankful...

You have one BIG problem here. Forget about that faulty hdd, you need to make a fresh install on that new HDD, but you can't because the console has power issues. In this case I recommend you to do the syscon diagnosis,. It could be NECs or bgas, hard to tell.

You could add some tantalums in parallel with the tokins to assure you extra energy in the case the NECs are failing, but something is happening with the bgas, you can't do much. Before updating, make sure the console doesn't turn off.
