PS3HEN PS3SS: Need to turn off 2-3 time before it boots

I recently purchased this PS3 Super Slim, but there's a few things that I'm not sure why is happening.

When I first booted it up, I was able to load HEN, MultiMan and Webman without any issues. I proceeded to install a number of games then played hours on it. I made sure to configure the fans on Webman so and placed the target at 60C, the fans were loud but I never had any overheating or performances issues because of it.

I turned off the controller, then the PS3SS using the power button. The LED indicator goes from Green to Red and it shuts off.

However, when I go back to turn it on the next day, the unit boots and shows the Green LED then to Red, then the LED goes out. If I try to press the power button again, nothing happens even if I hold it down.

I unplug the AC Cord, try again but same thing. Second time, same. The third time, it works properly and then it asks me to set the time and date.

I'm not entirely sure what's the cause, searching online people indicated that it could be a PSU issue but I'm not so sure since it is capable of running for hours as long as I don't turn it off.

Anyone got a clue to what it might be?

Wireless is functioning normal? BT/Wifi. What about HDMI?

Did you buy it modded? Or you installed HEN?

Yup, WiFi is working as it should and Bluetooth as well. I can browse in the internet without issue and I've suffered no disconnection when using Bluetooth. HDMI is working along with audio. The unit was initially modded but I wiped the HDD to make a fresh install with the latest software to ensure compatibility.

If it was opened check the white cable that connects the PSU with the motherboard. Sometimes it can be loose and leave you without +5v, introduce wires in socket the most you can. It could have been assembled wrongly and mobo it's shorting with the metal cover, or in the worst cases, you have some bga fractures on RSX or CELL. You can perform the syscon diagnosys to see what's going on.

I Had exactly the same symptoms before my wifi/bt chip died (PS3 SS). My advice, copy your game saves asap! Hope for the best... Plan for the worst.
