PS3 [Release] Modern Clock UI 4.82 - 4.84

i'll look into if i can get it to scroll from the right side all the way to the left but i wanted
to push put a quick fix for now for those who do have the feed.
Wow, nice work.

That would be great, I would also like to be able to increase the character limit if possible although that is probably in the sprx, there is more text in the xmls but it doesn't show..

Its just that fix would be good for people who use the PSX Place mod so the project is as compatible as possible with other things is all I meant by it. Was just asking about the other logo's you added in case it clashed with them. Looks awesome as is. Nice work :D
Already uploaded to the project my man, just gotta upload the decrypted versions :-p

Nice one, I'll update my Github desktop in a bit so i don't have to keep connecting to the site. I 'll update you with what I have been researching by PM in a bit as well, if i don't get blown away by this gale force wind up here, it's effing nuts, nearly been blown in front of a car 2 twice and am not exactly light and skinny.

Aye yeah, been absolutely hectic outside lately xD

Yeah sure, i can make a version with the little clock :encouragement:
or can we change it for cooler animation? I don't know, hour glass flipping, or something else?

Its just handy to have sometimes as indicator of webpage loading etc
Hey, Have you considered the loading icon from older firmware, Its better than the little clock IMO.

You can see it at the start of video, its like a little water drop

It actually still in 4.84 in recovery mode when its checks for a pup.

I thought about that like 2 days ago! The same loading thing is in the upper right corner when installing a FW, when it searches for update data.
I think it looks really nice :D

If i remember right... the "waterdrop" animation is taken from PSP firmware
So... you can take a look at the PSP firmware rco's to see how it was working... or to try to get some inspiration to make some frankenstein :D

I like this one from PS3 though, is pretty cool because it looks like moving in 3D
Hmmm. it cant be seen in the forum because is made with white colors only... check the link here:

Edit:
This image is located inside explore_plugin_full.rco / tex_playing.gim (30x900 pixels)

I also do not like that bar, for me it is useless, that's exactly what I want to do, remove it but keep the date and the clock in the default position. Can you tell me what tools you used to make this mod? and also make me available your file rco for me to use as a basis ?.

it's been a while, but I think that border is in xmb normal and xmb ingame rco's. I can't recall if it's obvious which governs the border, but I think it is. I've never personally removed it.

It's been a long time since I wanted to remove it, he told me earlier today what the rcos were, exactly the ones you mentioned. what I really want are the tools he used and his personalized rco, for me to base, that's all.

rcomage is the one I'm thinking of. even PUAD uses it to decompile rco files. you just need to use that, make the changes you want, then recompile. rco files are often firmware specific, so be careful. although, the worst that could happen is a soft brick, which can be fixed with a reinstall of the firmware.

I just installed the rcos that modifies the clock that @dazzaXx left, it really took the transparent bar, but it got bugged, the loading icon stayed between the date and the clock, but I only installed two of the three rcos, which were xmb_plugin_normal .rco and xmb_ingame.rco

iirc, it's the system_plugin.rco that contains the clock itself. the border is in those two rco's along with the digital clock. what firmware are you on?

You should have just used his blank GIM, not his whole RCO. He might have changed the name of the image. not sure.

I just used to do a test, I made a backup of the original files, actually got two bugs, this one of the icone fe load and the other is when log in psn, that small avatar is in the middle of the screen, but like you he said, I'll just use the gim image he used to remove the transparent bar
