Good news, guys. I fixed my development environment once again and then i compiled a new 1.7.1 version with extra-cores coming from an old project with the friend @Zar. Anyway I'm testing it right now, it includes some experimental cores (also not working :P) for development purposes. Should i share them too?
I just found genesis core not working (black screen). It complains about missing bios, I don't rememeber if it required bios. Can anyone with my latest release (1.6.7) to check if genesis works fine there and if it requires bios (you can check it going on 'info', then 'core info' and read if there's a message about missing bios). Let me know. ;)
I could share the build as it's now, but i'm not sure if it's a good idea, it's pretty stable except for the cores give blackscreen/freeze. Should maybe i remove them before releasing stuff?

My advice @Ezio create an add-on package for TEST/UNstable Cores .. It will make the release better, because someone will not say this does not work. They will know its expermental by having to install the Add-on pkg.

thanks for all your efforts. :)

Hell Yeah @Ezio . You finally got the time...

I just test the version 1.6.7 and there is just 3 "Missing, Required" lines for Sega CD:

(!) Missing, Required: bios_CD_E.bin (MegaCD EU BIOS)

(!) Missing, Required: bios_CD_U.bin (MegaCD US BIOS)

(!) Missing, Required: bios_CD_J.bin (MegaCD JP BIOS)

Does it work with .md roms? Could you check?

well about the bios u'll just have to see the info file here : https://buildbot.libretro.com/assets/frontend/info/genesis_plus_gx_libretro.info

the value firmware_opt tells u if it's optionnal or not. I'm pretty it was working (with bios). I didn't check recently :p

I tried latest official release and genesis works fine, so it's only an issue on my end. Good to know because it's easily fixable i guess since it's a fault of mine. :)

I notified two new cores in the latest official version, pokemini and intellivision? Has anyone ever tried them?

As @Zar say, Pokemini works well. But Mattel-Intellvision core doesn't work at all and every time i try to load this core, nothing happen and return me to XMB menu

@Ali888

The FreeIntv build from Feb. 25 works, I've tried about 8 different games. Must be your games, or the 2 BIOS files needed. Or something changed between then and now.

On the xbins site, there are two new cores available in the nightly section, both for emulating GB/GBC...

Gearboy (seems to work)
TGBDual (gives white screen on game load)

I would like to get the highest stability in order to improve the user experience while playing retroarch. I had 46 cores in my build, i just removed 6 cores since they were really unstable (I don't like that a homebrew could freeze the console).
I could already add gearboy and freeintv, but i think that there're still some cores to add seeing the list did together @Zar some months ago. So i could add them later through an addon package or to take more time to do a release with more cores (it would require also more time only for testing).
Actually I'm still losing time to understand why genesis doesn't seem to work in my build. lol
Add the fact i would like to do retroarch compatible with HAN possibly without using rif files/license then you understand there's still a bit of work after release to do.
@Ezio Could you add support for Far East of Eden - Tengai Makyou Zero and SPC7110 chipset games to Snes9x2010 core?
I gathered some useful links for you:
https://forums.libretro.com/t/update-snes9x2010-to-handle-spc7110/12916
http://psx-core.ru/forum/58-2993-1#81623
I think snes9x for ps3 does the game. ;)

Great news, i think if you release all cores in one pkg (and do more time for it) can be good idea; because if you release early version then release add on, it might some core mission there.

I already know new releases after this one will be necessary, you have no idea what it could happen (people asking for other stuff, core updates, new available cores, etc). You could never finish if you stay behind every single novelty.
At least I can now say genesis come back to work also in my build. :)

HAN does not have native PS3 homebrew Support, RetroArch won't be possible with HAN

You are completely right. btw, if there is anything that i can do, like testing; i am purely appreciated to do that
