the psu was shorted. I swapped the psu it already had with another one to test something but I guess I grabbed a bad psu. I found it randomly in one of my drawers while looking for parts. The fuse in my house blew and everything obviously turned off. I then put the psu it had before and it gave me rlod. And please dont start saying things like "why?" "you should have checked it somewhere else" and stuff cause thats mostly the "advice" ive been given about this so far. Im sorry if im being mean but these are all the answers ive been getting so far.
I was getting rlod while in tough games. My first thought was that the necs are failing, but before I precceded to do anything I thought I would change the psu cause who knows maybe that was the issue. And before all this was done the ps3 worked fine. So no its not a different issue. Something has shorted in the motherboard and its not working anymore even with a good psu.
it worked before just fine. Im not saying the necs were good, but theres no way the necs could have gone from 80% working to 0% working after just changing the psu. And its giving me an rlod ive never seen before. Some people told me that the cell or rsx are probably dead which is what I think happened as of now. Anyway, another ps3 in my death book. Time to get another one and break it too.
