The trouble I had setting up the GM OPL fort the first time was: I had to format the SSD with an allocation unit size of 512K for it to work.
Yes, I read that myself on Grimdoomer's GitHub.It seems you are confused with "allocation" vs. "cluster"...![]()
Was I replying to you?? You didn't even get the gist of my comment. Why are you quoting me and reply to someone else?Yes, I read that myself on Grimdoomer's GitHub.
It isn't "converted to DVD", but to ISO... Rest of the question is hence redundant. While I'm here: so the CDs that need to be converted to DVDs also need to be placed in the CD folder?
No they are not... You frame your assumptions as if they were factual. Please don't do that.I ask because it's a bit odd, technically, they are DVDs once they have been converted.
No, because no app supports exFAT on internal HDD.Another question: is it possible to launch GD's OPL directly from the HDD?

I should have said "changed to ISO" instead. Why do you say that CDs are "converted" to DVD?
Curiosity invaded me.

Just a question about cover art and GD's OPL:
I found it easy using the regular OPL & OPL Manager to get cover art. But, is there a similarly easy way to get cover art for GD's OPL?
I understand I could probably use OPL Manger here but it seems to force the games name to be changed before cover art can be downloaded.
I prefer the naming format of: game name (region).
Yes, they still have the same extension but the size makes the difference.
They should be placed in the "CD" folder.
I have not used the GD version. Would you update me? How are the images renamed in that version?
I ran a test and put the CD based games in the DVD folder and they are running fine on GD's OPL. It might be different to the normal OPL in this respect.
The images are not renamed in GD's version. However, if you put them in OPL Manager it appears as if you have to rename them in order to download art.
I prefer to use this format for my games, e.g. "007 - From Russia with Love (USA)"Could you tell me how you named the game?
And how should you rename it so that OPL Manager recognizes it?
I prefer to use this format for my games, e.g. "007 - From Russia with Love (USA)"
But, when I put that image into OPL Manager it considers it as an invalid file and will not allow me to download an image for it.
Unless I update the file name to "SLUS_212.82.007 - FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE"
No, because no other app supports exFAT on internal HDD. Oh wait... Neutrino does! Nothing else beside these 2 though.Another question: is it possible to launch GD's OPL directly from the HDD?
Yeah no... SOME CD-based games DO a media-check and will NOT work from the DVD-Folder.I ran a test and put the CD based games in the DVD folder and they are running fine on GD's OPL. It might be different to the normal OPL in this respect.

That's what I was talking about:Hi, can you please share the link? Thanks.
Probably yes, is my guess.Am I missing something?
Yes, I was using this until I discovered that it's no good for mulit track PS2 games like Dance Factory. You can use Bin2ISO too. Extremely straightfoward

What should I do with multi track PS2 games?
