Is there any way to hack our PS3s and install CFW in the meantime? I have a PS3 Slim model CECH-2000 which is currently on OFW 4.78. I've been doing a lot of searching and saw the DNS trick for bgtoolset but that doesn't seem to work for me as nothing loads up when I go to the address. Can anyone confirm that whether or not the DNS trick still works? I also saw th new ps3xploit.me site but it looks like not all the tools are available. Like I can go to the flash dumper but I can't go to the flash writer. I have also heard people talking about some sketchy-looking Russian site that has bgtoolset mirrored on it that has worked for people but was too afraid to look into that further without getting some information from here first. I have also seen guides on how to locally host the exploit but all those guides point to the old ps3xpoit domain and I can't see on the new domain how I can get what's needed to locally host the exploit. Thanks for the help.

Edit: Been doing some more searches and came across this comment from bguerville himself regarding the issue. Just figured I would post it here in case others are searching and would like to see it. But basically, it will come back and we just need to give it time.

You can't go CFW, but you can use HEN by using the .me site instead.

That does not work anymore. The cert expired and couldn't be renewed with the domain broken. So he removed it even from cloudflare's custom domain, so they don't even resolve the domain anymore (which could in theory work if we set back the clock on the ps3 to have it think the cert was still valid, though it depends on the webserver if that would have worked since it may not have wanted to serve the page in the first place if it thought the cert was expired. But anyway, the method doesn't work since the CF custom dns was removed.

HEN required HFW to work. If you are on OFW, you don't lose anything by changing to HFW, provided ofc everything works properly.

By the way, you can install HEN, get a dump through the multimen, patch it and upload it back, after installing CFW.

as bguerville told on PS3Xploit Temporary Mirror [ps3xploit.me] | Page 6 | PSX-Place. At the meantime i has able to install HEN on my slim, now moving on to installing multiman and trophyisgood.

We have been migrating the sites of the suspended ps3xploit domains to the new permanent hosting solution step by step, first the nopsn.org site, then the ps3xploit.me site, and last the PS3 Toolset because it has more complex requirements that need fulfilled.

At the moment, we have basically completed the first 2 migrations, and if ever you find glitches when using nopsn.org or ps3xploit.me, please report them here for us to review.

The Toolset remains inaccessible at this time, not by choice however, we have both administrative and technical hurdles that have been thrown in our way still to overcome before it can be redeployed, no point detailing, just know that we have been working on this all along ever since the suspension, with a certain amount of frustration I may add. You guys wouldn't believe how messy the web infrastructure administration can be, it's always been but it's getting worse imho, this past month has been somewhat enlightening for us in that regard.
Bear with us though, I cannot make any promises as some of this stuff is out of my hands but as far as I can make out, it shouldn't be long now, so I am hoping to have the Toolset redeployed by the end of the coming week end.
