You shouldn't need to reinstall FW, (well maybe as a last resort), are you sure you didn't just install the XMBPD pkg and not run it? you need to run the app after installing the pkg.

As for special order, no , you should be able to install all those in any order.

And just enable CFW settings in the toolbox, its a better way to do it I think.
 
Yes i ran the program but i already had adlos cfw settings installed (not sure if that was a conflict), it just removed it so i ran the program again and still nothing.
I've reinstalled Rebug just to freshen it up..
So if i have XMBM+ it installs in there under web links?

Yes if you install aldostools CFW settings pkg it will overwrite the network entries for XMBPD, so just use the toolbox to enable it, it is the exact same version.

No, this doesn't install to XMBM+. A future version of XMBM+ might include it though. This installer only installs it to the network category.
 
:/ thats strange... here's what i did.
Installed rebug, enabled cobra and cfw settings in toolbox, installed XMBPD and reboot (of course).
in my network column there is CFW settings... no XMBPD.
 
Im not sure, I have to go out now, Ill look into it when I get back, maybe i messed something up. Are you sure you are on 4.81.2? not 4.80.1?

Finally got it working. Heres what i had to do:
Install - XMBM+_v0.24.005_and_XMBPD_v0.61.000.pkg.945.v0.61+0.24 from brewology.
Install - XMBPD_v0.65 Update.
Looks like i was just installing an update rather than the full package..

Ah now i have the Package downloader in 2 locations..

Delete:
dev_hdd0/game/XMBMANPLS/USRDIR/FEATURES/XMBPD.xml
as 4esfera said, to remove it from xmbm+

I expect you have 2 versions now, an old version inside XMBM+ , and the new version in the network category. (you can check this in the about section)

Note: The v0.65 is standalone and should not require any other packages to be installed, also deleting the old XMBPD.xml (located at dev_hdd0/game/XMBMANPLS/USRDIR/FEATURES) will remove the old version,

Note 2: Removing the old xml is not required, but it will not effect the new version if you do remove it.

EDIT: If you or anyone else has problems or still find you havnt got v0.65 installed, try redownloading the pkg from here, I had repacked it as there was a mistake in the param.sfo and there was a mistake in the pkg after that repack, sorry. Fixed it now. If its working ok for you don't worry, you got the good version.

Hi Mate! ...I really like the look of this as it looks like it organised most everything but a bit unsure as I have just recently installed this
WebMAN_LaunchPAD_v0.18_Rebug_4.81_Only seem to sort fractions of what I hoped for...Maybe I am configuring it wrong. ?
Can you tell me if I can also install this also XMBPD_v0.65 ? or would you advise to remove the WebMAN_LaunchPAD_v0.18_Rebug_4.81_Only and revert back...Before I install this.XMBPD_v0.65 ? I want to streamline the homepage as much as possible to remove the clutter that seems to be apearing within the games tab just now after installing a few diffrent types of games ISO ect...and applications. Hoping this app will do most that for me if installed.
I am on REBUG 4.81.2 REX EDITION – Jan. 10th 2017 installed on PS3 slim

As for webMAN Lauchpad, it will only show you your webMAN games, So it will show whatever you have webMAN configured to show, or at least it should. (maximum 300 items)

You can install them both, they are for different purposes. webMAN Launchpad is an extension of webMAN for mounting games, just a different GUI. XMBPD is for downloading packages and other items like themes. Here is a video of XMBPD

EDIT: No this wont sort any of your current stuff, it just allows you to get new stuff.

OK ....Mate ...Thank you for the info.....Most informative Sir......and I think I will also be using this application ..........will be very useful indeed ...so I will be updating the PS3 with this feature soon.
