When a groundbreaking exploit hits a device, the most successful hacks that launch a scene, are the exploits enabling things such as un-authozired code / homebrew on the device with the latest firmware at the time the exploit goes public. As this is obviously when you have the biggest audience (end-user & developer's), In most cases the manufacture makes a quick update in the days / weeks to come, as Sony wishes to patch the exploit , however by then many people and outside news hubs are educated and well aware to stay on that firmware and as they look and await the firmware update that patches the expoit,

This project continues to impress and evolve overtime, a highly requested feature has finally made it's way to the popular PS3 plugin that was originally created by deank with the original version of webMAN, but developer aldostools has been the leading developer behind the webMAN MOD project that has added so many new features and functionality to an already great plugin. Now appearing in version 1.45.04 the dev has added RETRO support for the plugin (sprx), now see an added ROMS category on the XMB & HTML Game list of the plugin. The update does not stop there you can view additional additions in the provided changelog, but its does look like Aldostools is preppping for an upcoming REBUG release with adding support to 4.81 DEX.

Developer francesco2013 has released v0.42c of PS3 Game Manager, this small update provides some bug fixes and offers an overall performance boost from previous updates (see included changelog). Since version v0.42a the Linux project has since included a pre-configured version (for easy installation) of Virtual Box for running this project on other platforms other then Linux, but the developer is planning and working on a standalone version for Windows as well, but until then this virtual box solution is there to use this unique manager that utilizes webMAN MOD's API. A new Homebrew Game arises for the PS Vita / PlayStation TV with the release of Starfield_Vita an original creation from developer gnmmarechal. A PC game created by the dev has now been ported and re-written using Lua Player Plus. The creator of the project has many planned features & additions for the game as future updates will be incoming. PS VITA / PS TV taiHEN Beta 6 - A Final (Stable) release approaching as the CFW like exploit matures

The evolution continues as the Vita exploit taiHEN reaches Beta 6 and while not officially marked as Stable Team molecule more specifically team member and respected developer yifanlu, tells us in the latest release details that a final release is approaching and also thanks to the evolution of the hack and polishing of it from the developer it has now become much easier to port to other firmwares then it was initially in early taiHEN and HENkaku version. This update provides some fixes and updates the exploit to support VitaShell v1.43.​

You may recall Ben Heck's Nintendo PlayStation Teardown and repairs to the very rare Nintendo PlayStation (SNES-CD) Prototype. Now the hardware genius is back at the Retro Gaming Expo in Portland Oregon meeting again the Nintendo PlayStation and attempting to repair the disc drive with hopes to play the homebrew game "Super Boss Gaiden" for the SNES-CD platform . The SNES-CD is a symbol of Nintendo's and Sony's failed partnership back in the early 90's with a product even though never released to the public changed the course of gaming history.
