(Updated: see post ) --- Movian or formerly known as Showtime has been updated to v5.0 (Stable), this homebrew media center for the PS3 that is capable of playing many forms of media and gives your CFW enabled PS3 tons of functionality that the official media player of the PS3 is unable to do. It has been awhile since we have seen a Stable release, but development continues almost daily with the testing and bleeding edge updates. Since the last official update developer Andreas Smas has brought a new user interface

It's like the old days of multiMAN as we see another update delivered to user's from deank via the Online Update within the application, in this release marked v04.78.02 the developer has updated stealthMAN & also updated Movian (Showtime) multiMAN Edition to the latest Bleeding Edge Update marked v04.99.812. Plus deank adds two additional fixes to the manager as outlined in the changelogs provided.

For the PS3 CFW community there is a niffy release from DeViL303 who has brought the PS3 audience various XMB Modifications & releases over the years. In recent months the developer has returned to the scene and picked up right where he left off in providing some great mods for our beloved CFW enabled PlayStation 3 Consoles. We seen the initial release of XMBPD (XMB Package Downloader) back in early February and since that time we have seen the development progress in the official XMBPD Support Thread that DeViL303 has started here in the psx-place forums.

The developers of Universal Media Server (UMS) have released a new version of the DNLA Media Server that supports many devices such as the PS3, PS4, PS Vita and even more devices as seen on the official website. In this release of version 6.2.1 lead developer Subjunk details the changes in the changelog provided but essentially this updates fixes various bugs and also improves support even farther from v6.2.0 for Panasonic & Samsung TVs.

A new update is unleashed by deank to the popular multiMAN, we recently seen deank provide an update back in late January to support 4.78 CFW and now the developer has returned as a new update (v04.78.01) via multiMAN's Online Update has arisen. This update contains a fix for ps3netsrv user's as deank corrects an issues that was causing crashes of the application when scanning games from /net_host..
