Developer crait has released the latest Homebrew Game for HENkaku; Chicken Launcher which is a spin off of "Kitten Cannon", The concept of this game is quite easy as in this simple but joyful title, your goal it to launch a the chicken the farthest distances as possible, Hi-Score is supported, so see how far you can launch (not lunch) that chicken, aim for the TNT and avoid the spikes in this latest homebrew release for HENkaku.

Developer some1 well known for his PSP scene contributions, released RegistryEditor v1.0 for PS Vita/PSTV consoles with henkaku exploit. Is tool that help us to edit PS(T)V registry right on screen. No need for pc, all "registry hacks" can be done now from your handheld or PSTV itself. Tool is for advanced users as messing with system registry can make serious problems for your console, if done incorrectly. Make sure that you know what you are doing before using that. It's look like this tool is also able to edit devkit and testkit registry, but for now we can't use not-retail registry settings for retail consoles, so we can only edit retail registry settings. But maybe in future we can reach DEX settings on CEX like Rebug on PS3.

PS3 Custom Firmware user's are greeted with a new update to one of the very popular homebrew webMAN MOD. As developer @aldostools updates the plugin to now version 1.43.34. This update contains various new features to the File Manager, Display of free space USB storage devices now displayed in /cpursx.ps3. webMAN Button combos can now be performed on any linked controller slot (0-7), Support to install pkg files to the right menu in html which should be a useful feature in itself, but the developer did not stop there as there is numerous other changes and features provided in this update.

The latest update makes some performance related improvements and has been tested with the latest version of webMAN MOD which currently resides at version 1.43.33. One of most active Playstation Vita scene developers, Rinnegatamante is here with another release. This time is vitaWanted. Clone of mini game included in Super Mario 64 DS game. Port is using Lua Player Plus interpreter that was ported to PS vita also by Rinnegatamante. In this minigame, the player has to find one of the four characters, but this time is not Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, or Wario like in original game. Characters are well known memes that you can find in internet. The minigame ends after the player runs out of time.

App have very nostalgic design for first psp users, interface is looking very similar to well known PSPident application for PSP. This small app have very extended functionality, you can check: vita version, idps, psn login/password information, battery info, and many more that until now was hard to obtain. Not need for vita registry check on pc, just run app on your Vita/PSTV and all info is there. Is early version so bugs are there, or my pstv have not so small battery (~2000mAh), but most of things is already working very good.

Developer LeeStorm released on his blog some homebrew games for Vita/PSTV, every game is of course henkaku compatible. SpiderVita 1.2, doggytwicevt 0.2, and Minesweeper 1.1 three titles, two of them are clone of windows embed games. And doggytwicevt game writen long time ago but released now. Three logical games that will steal your time. Spider Vita is kind of Solitaire game, Minesweeper well known game for all windows users now on vita, and doggytwicevt logical game where point is to make all "coins" gold by turning them in right order.

It appears that the port from Rinnegatamante of Lua Player Plus for the Vita / PSTV has been put to use already on several games and we hope to see even more,. We have already seen one Flappy Bird clone come to HENkaku, but gambikules has another version that is a bit more true to the original version that gain worldwide attention a couple of years ago and since has been ported to about every homebrew system.. The latest version now includes sound support and full PSTV controls.

A new tool has been released VitaCID 1.0. Wow what can I say? The Vita scene went from nothing to amazing in the short time span of less then a month. This time the release is from long time Vita scene member Major Tom who brought us the amazing EML hacks with the help of his partner in crime mr gas. This tools allows one to obtain your Vitas IDPS without the need of TNV which was the only way to get this prior to this tool.

So it seems xyz of Team Molecule has released a really nifty tool called Vita-IDU. Now you might ask what is this? Well it will convert your CEX based HENkaku enabled Vita into a full fledged KIOSK system. Whats so cool about this? Well it enables a few new features like the PKG Installer is back and this time it is the official one without the update nag screen. This unlike the recently released PKG Installer 2.0 will install native Vita DRM-Free PKG's like Netflix and more with the help of QCMA.
