PS3 Resident Evil Operations (Paintown Mod) : Re-Released no longer needs Mod Pack V2

PS3 Developer @Markus95 has contacted the PSX-Place Staff as the dev has Re-Released the Paintown mod Resident Evil Operations. NO longer does this modded Paintown release need (what is often very hard to find) Paintown (Mod Pack v2). Now this requirement is no longer needed to run this RE mod to Paintown, which should make some user happy who could not track down mod pack v2. Tell us what you think of this impressive Paintown Game Mod and if you have not tried it before, It's a very good homebrew creation.​

After the two previous builds of Universal Media Server there have been connectivity issues for certain devices. As usual over here at PSX-Place we cover what our members are using most device wise. The official ScummVM Team has progressed the project to version 1.8.1, the emulator has been updated on various platforms including the PS3 Port. In this update there has been some game engines updates for various games across all updated platforms. Outside the PS3 version there was a NEW Nintendo 3DS and Android port,. the dev team hopes to have ScummVM on Google Play Sooner then later.

Developer DeViL303 is back with an update to XMBPD, the homebrew store that is integrated directly into the XMB (not to be confused with a web shortcut (homebrew store) like what is found in the latest FERROX 4.80 CFW). In version 0.31 there was some minor changes to XMB Package Downloader itself, but the installer seen a big change as it now includes the ability to install another project by DeViL303; webMAN Launchpad that was released several months ago by the developer who has brought us many great XMB modifications over the years..

Following the previous build of Universal Media Server comes yet another update to the video streaming app. What was reported last was improved connectivity to your devices but it seems that it was not the case for many a PS3 or PS4 user. This update, been version 6.3.1.1, attempts to address the connectivity issues but reading the comments over at the UMS site both PS3 and PS4 users are still having trouble.

PlayStation 2 developer SP193 did not just stop with updating PS2Ident, the developer has also released an update to Free Memory Card Boot (FMCB) v1.951, this update like the recent ps2indent updates code for support to the latest PS2SDK revisions.
