I have followed multiple threads about this, i updated PS2 classics GUI from 2.1 to the newest 2.2.3. I made sure that i got the plugin on photoshop and that the image had clear transparency and no interlacing, and it still shows as a black spot.
Just so you know, i got an icon0.png from another ps2 classic to use as a template, and it did work to keep it's transparency when i was placing all of the images from that normal copy of Persona 3 FES to a packed edited version of the game with a cheat enabled, and it showed as normal in the XMB. But now when i try to do this again by editing the icon0 from that game, it just doesn't work. I have no idea what to do, why won't it just become transparent, why won't the program take into account PNGs properly and convert the image so that it stays transparent in the XMB, doesn't the PS1 packer do that?
I'm very exhausted about this, and i never found a clear answer to this, i just really want my PS2 games to look consistent in the XMB along side the PSN releases of PS2 games i own.
