Here is some exciting news for developer's and end user's as well. As some of he biggest names in the homebrew community team up to kick off one giant Homebrew Contest. Introducing the GekiHEN Homebrew Contest, a new contest for developer's creating various Homebrew and Hacks for the PS Vita / PlayStation TV.systems utilizing the HENkaku exploit (which was updated today (see here) ) . PS VITA / PS TV HENkaku Exploit Updated to Release 6 - GPU Overclocking now Supported

Team molcule the group behind the HENkaku exploit is back again with a new update (R6) and this update's focus is on overclocking your exploited PS Vita / PSTV GPU. Which we have seen done plugins, but now the ability comes native to the exploit (henkaku) that has changed the development landscape in the community. To update, just install the exploit as your normally would (online method), for new user's with your Vita or PSTV on firmware 3.60 (only 3.60) visit the official website: https://henkaku.xyz/

A new update was made to the controversial Vitamin (a henkaku homebrew) by TheFlow, this backup manager contains a unique feature that when creating a backup, it will allow support of using plugin's, which developer's from around the scene are just starting to tinker with as seen in our new Vitamin plugin Resource's area where we have some of those creations available, Signalling the progression and evolution of TheFlow's original work "Amphetamin" plugin and plugin support offer in Vitamin that was seen in the first offcial version of Vitamin. In this latest release (version 2.0) game compatibility was the focus and that has been dramatically increased, as psx-place's own @atreyu187 had previously explained how this was achieved in a thread from earlier in the week in our forums here

Developer @Markus95 is back with a new release for the PS3 Homebrew Community, as the dev releases Dragon Ball Paintown, if you have not gave some of Markus98's previous work a spin then i suggest also trying these other recent releases by the developer for the PS3 Paintown: Streets of Rage & Paintown: Resident Evil Operations. This release is the first Playable Beta so expect some issues that Markus98 plans to improve upon. So please leave some comments and feedback for the developer .​

This PS Vita / PSTV release for the HENkaku exploit has been involved in it's fair share of drama this week. It all started with a new group with the alias as "Team FreeK" who showed a POC video of a Plugin being used and a Backup Manager in action using HENkaku.. Several days later, we seen a leaked version released arise, but this was not the version that was touted on the video. . As it turned out to be an earlier version given to the leaker (A Tester),. So, long story short the team disbanded and several well known developers left the scene due to the leak as then the team exposed themselves. While one of Team FreeK's members TheFlow decided to release the Official Version​

Developer Drakon has released JellyCar Vita, this homebrew port is alot of fun and brings the original creation of and shows the continued evolution of homebrew on the HENkaku exploit. This game uses "Soft Body" physics like "jelly" :) within a 2d environments which creates a unstable environment that will challenge you to get the best jump record.​
