Over at the PlayStationHAX forums m0rph3us1987 has released a new utility for the PS4 (FW 1.70 & 1.76) called PS4FileNinja (v1.0.0) that can be executed in the PS4 Playground and provides a new alertantive to a file browser. [ARTICLE UPDATED] Here is an interesting release for the PlayStation 4 community from developer Red-EyeX32, As a new update to the PSProxy utility is released , This update will Bypass a new PS4 firmware updates. We have not tested this here at psx-place.com yet, but the developer states that this has been tested on a US console with 3.50 firmware and with the utility one is able to bypass 3.55 FW and thus sign into PSN with 3.50 System. This has had limited testing from the developer's own quote and it appears limited testing has been done on lower firmwares, so be sure to use this at your own risk..

Following the recent release of Trakt for Movian, developer facanferff (Fábio Ferreira) is back with another new experience for the Homebrew Media Center as Vimeo has been officially released. The vimeo makes its first appearance on Movian with the ability to watch & browse videos, categories, channels and groups. A new update to webMAN MOD is now available as developer @aldostools officially releases version 1.43.30, following a recent test build unveiled in the psx-place forums in the webMAN MOD Information Thread. This is not a huge update but does improve a few aspects of the plugin's functionality. The first of two changes comes in the form of improved sorting of titles on the XMB, now the first letter of the 2nd word is taken into account when scanning content, so user's should notice and improve there. Also on html pages there is now an added Arrow to go to the top, similar to what see here on this websites software in the bottom right corner. A couple of great additions to join the long list of great features that reside in this must have plugin for Cobra & Mamba user's on a Custom firmware enabled PS3 Console. .

Game Mod Developer @futuretime23 stops by the psx-place forums to drop a new update on a popular project; MK9 Trilogy Edition now resides at version 1.50 with plenty of new changes. What these guys have changed in these games is quite impressive and adds a whole new experience to the game to say the least. This modification is a large file, but well worth the download, checkout the video preview included by the developer and view all the character changes as well.

As the dev shares code for playing audio .wav & .ogg files, which may sound a little boring to some user's, but this release could be something very useful for other projects and developer's, such as a "bigger project" that Drakon seems to be working as the dev mentions in the release quote

Developer facanferff who is known for some impressive plugins for Movian as some of his past creations include some of most widely used plugins for the homebrew media player. YouTuve, Navi-X, Oceanus Skin are just a few of the many contributions this developer has made to the Movian (aka Showtime) project, Now the dev is back with a brand new plugin titled Trakt that gives your TV show and Movies alot of added information. Following the recent release of Resident Evil Operation (Paintown Mod) by @Markus95, the developer is back with a huge update to my favorite mod of the Open Source Paintown; Street of Rage Paintown. The update is so large it has finished the Streets of Rage inspired modification. The update comes included with tons of new additions and even includes new cinematic cut scenes for CFW (4.xx) PS3 user's. Characters are now all 100% completed (with an unlockable secret character to find ), New Levels and new Bosses are just some of new additions you can find for this fun beat em up - button masher that is always alot of fun, Give it a try !!!.
