So seems yifanlu has been up to helping out the Vita scene yet again. This time making it easy for anyone to update to 3.60 from any firmware below 3.60 to enable HENkaku/taiHENkaku. All one has to do is change the DNS server on your Vita/PSTV then use the official update method via the settings in the "Live Area". Best of all it will stop any accidental updating past 3.60 as it is the only firmware that will show up when you try to access the update setting. And best of all you can still use your browser and system as usual so you don't have to change the DNS settings to view YouTube surf the web or enable the hacks, just said it once and forget about it. Here I will leave what the dev had to say to explain it some more.

You may recall Ben Heck's Nintendo PlayStation Teardown and repairs to the very rare Nintendo PlayStation (SNES-CD) Prototype. Now the hardware genius is back at the Retro Gaming Expo in Portland Oregon meeting again the Nintendo PlayStation and attempting to repair the disc drive with hopes to play the homebrew game "Super Boss Gaiden" for the SNES-CD platform . The SNES-CD is a symbol of Nintendo's and Sony's failed partnership back in the early 90's with a product even though never released to the public changed the course of gaming history.

Yifan Lu posted on his twitter that new taiHENkaku beta is available. Beta 5 is a stability update, molecule team rewrote both kernel payload and installer. On installer side taiHENkaku should be now more stable than in older releases. Kernel payload update bring not only more stability, but also ability to update HENkaku config and taiHEN config.txt without needing a reboot. VitaShell needs to be updated to use this feature though. Remember that taiHENkaku is still in beta stage, so use it only if you want to test new features, or if you want to give feedback for developers. For every other purposes stable henkaku is what you already need.
